Hello guys, i am facing problem in installing package files from usb in ps3. My usb is not displayed under game menu in ps3 whereas i can access files under 'Picture, music and videos' section.

My install package Files folder is missing. And the ps3/app/home folder too!!! I did nothing and now the folders are missing-_- Im on Rogero. Installing and Updating Packages. The system does not install that package. Any packages provided by publishers not found in the image are added to the image.

I updated my system to 4.31. When i connect my usb to ps3 system 'Install Package Files' menu item is not displayed under Games section.

You need to hardware downgrade your PS3 if it can be downgraded.

If you dontknow if it can be jailbroken, just run MINVERCHK pup on your PS3, as you would an update. Link is below in my sig. You cannot downgrade with software. If restore my system than will i able to jailbreak my system. And i try to full format my system than the msg was shown that format will take upto 8 or 18 hours i dont remember exactly that it was 8 or 18 hours. I tried to quick format and the msg was shown that by this format you will not get the desire result. Can i restore my system to the initial setting.????

Nope: It wont work like that. You will just restore to default settings/clean version of your latest OFW installed (aka 4.31).

You need a hardware flasher and FSM dongle, or pay someone to do it for you.
